March 27th, 2009 was the last date when I published my sulumits retsambew blog article and that was the 12th day of Sulumits Retsambew SEO contest.

Now after 12 days I somehow managed to get back to sulumits retsambew adjusting my other priority business engagement. It’s being nice watching Google SERP’s all these days. Lot’s of up’s and downs in rankings, few sites reached Google top-10 positions, few went down to 2nd & 3rd page, some sites vanished out, few got banned violating T & C (word press guy) which was no Surprise to me, WordPress usually block their free hosting blogs participating for any contest. (It will be good learning for all of us to never opt WP at least their free service, they want us to avail their paid services:-))

My blog article’s received many comments during my 12 day passive off from Sulumits Retsambew SEO contest. Especially comment from Hellas (You are on seventh position now. You should give us some updates) and from Paul R (I just got de-listed for my main page. I was at 26th (down from 15th) and then I’m gone.). It was really bad to hear that Paul site got de-listed from Google, m sure he will be back in SERP soon (All the best wishes to Paul).

As I said about my passive off (my off was from doing any task for Sulumits Retsamabew SEO contest page, but I was very much active on checking Google rankings). Even in the night when I get up I used to check rankings for “sulumits retsambew” from my NOKIA E 71, it’s like addiction where I was almost checking Google every now and than (Very Funny- my mom laugh’s on me for such madness

Well back to Sulumits Retsambew track:-

I was positioned at 6th position till 5th April,  Today I experienced many sweet changes to Google SERP’s.

Hellas (www.sulumitsretsambew.org) is almost stable to his Google 1st position, Sunita (www.sulumitsretsambewno.com) is down to 3rd position and her entry got replaced by Slideshare entry (www.slideshare.net/guestce90ce/sulumits-retsambew).

My main Sulumits Retsambew SEO contest entry page is back to 4th position in Google.com (Again Thankooooooooo Google) it surpass bewithcijo.blogspot.com/2009/03/sulumits-retsambew.html who has heading my entry but now he is at 5th position.

www.sulumitsretsambew.biz is enjoying 6th position followed by Mr. Twitter twitter.com/5o0c8kk7 at 7th position. Between I liked his twitter profile Location which says “Google serps” & Bio “Perfection is the direction” -  I agree “Perfection is all what we are trying to achieve!” and want to be paragon with SEO.

Next entry in leaderboard is of Bill Hartzer at 8th position (www.billhartzer.com/pages/net-builders-launches-sulumits-retsambew-seo-search-engine-optimization-contest/) – I need to return back him backlink favor, so here I go……..Sulumits Retsambew SEO Contest Entry by Bill Hartzer.

Out of all the participant’s list Google is playing with 9th & 10th position most of the time. To me at 9th position (www.itkeepsyourunning.com/sulumits-retsambew) is showing and at 10th position www.firetown.com/ entry. But if you notice the Google 1st page daily you will observe random fluctuations at 9th, 10th & 11th position.

That’s all the updates from my end which I want to share it with you Folks! It’s time now to get serious

Looking at Slideshare #2 position I made some tweaks to my old sulumits retsambew slideshare entry.

As you had noticed the Title of this article which is Sulumits Retsambew – Google Algorithm Test day – I had created a new profile at Slideshare sulumitsretsambew2009 with a new slide show for testing Google algorithm and slideshare domain weightage aka “Sulumits Retsambew Test“, For next few days I’ll be testing this over Google.

Then I thought to refresh my SEO strategies & I was planning to write a whole new copy text, in effort to bring back my Sulumits Retsambew SEO contest page….but wait again on checking rankings later end of day, I found my Sulumits Retsambew – Day 2 blog article ranking at 12th position in Google and my main contest page was no where till 100 positions. I was thinking of why Google is playing with my site rankings & making such a random changes for Sulumits Retsambew keyword….:-)

I was mum, silently observing the Google SERP’s, I knew Google has lot more surprises for me…as always my strategy was to wait n watch, observe the Google results and I was right!….Google again came up with it’s Brazilian Samba Dance today…I mean shuffle in rankings for “Sulumits Retsambew“ keyword phrase, but this time Google gave me opportunity to dance in a Rock n Roll fashion!….Any Guesses???…Google brought my Sulumits Retsambew main SEO contest page back to it’s position (8th position) and my Sulumits Retsambew 2nd day blog article to 23rd position….THANK You GoOgle for your generousity!

Last week I published my Sulumits Retsambew Day 2 SEO strategies and from last 5 days I had not published any update nor worked on Sulumits Retsambew. But I was desperately keeping track of Google Positions, almost 24-25 times a day for keyword Sulumits Retsambew. I can say Sulumits Retsambew is turning out into real test for SEO professional’s, also somewhere I feel Google is playing with we guys

Well on 19th & 20th March my website was at 3rd position for Sulumits Retsambew but again like me everyone noticed major shuffle in positions at the end of day. My website went down to 5th position and as of today it is at 7th position for Sulumits Retsambew.

The interesting changes are http://2sulumitsretsambew.wordpress.com/ has jumped to 2nd position,  some pages ranking from www.slideshare.net and www.sphinn.com which is a great surprise for me.  I am wondering how (http://2sulumitsretsambew.wordpress.com/) managed to popped up at 2nd position while on analyzing major SEO factors I didn’t find any which can justify ranking for this site. I guess Google Engineer’s are also keeping eye on Sulumits Retsambew contest and want to surprise us with a shock to we  all who are trying to find out Google Algorithm ranking factors.  Apart from Sulumits Retsambew contest I never experience such quick up & downs in Google positions.

Looking at current random changes in position for Sulumits Retsambew I need to think about my SEO strategies.

Sulumits Retsambew SEO Contest strategies Day 7:-

Strategy 1: In order to get some authority backlinks I created Google KNOL pages of my Sulumits Retsambew Day 1 & Day 2 blog articles, Hubpages for Sulumits Retsambew, Squidoo Lenses for Sulumits Retsambew, Docstoc.com Sulumits Retsambew and published a blog post on Sulumits Retsambew over TopRankSEO Blog.

I am pretty much satisfied with the way my websites and blog are performing for Sulumits Retsambew at Google. My main Sulumits Retsambew website contest page is ranking at 7th position, Docstoc.com page is on 19th position, Sulumits Retsambew over TopRankSEO Blog at 56th position & Sulumits Retsambew Day 2 page at 37th position.

Strategy 2: I had added a Footer Link on my website (www.afzalkhan.org) to SEO Contest Entry page  Sulumits Retsambew.

Strategy 3: My main focus will be now on to retain my 7th position for Sulumits Retsambew or if possible will try to regain my 3rd position ASAP. Next I’ll follow wait and watch policy coz the contest is open for next 5 months and I’ll work accordingly on analyzing the Google SERP changes. Let’s hope for the best!

As said I’ll share and publish SEO strategies which I am gonna implement for Sulumits Retsambew SEO contest, so here’s the quick update for Sulumits Retsambew – Day 2.

Sulumits Retsambew SEO Contest strategies Day 2:-

I hope you guys remember Strategy 3 shared yesterday about Google Competition for Sulumits Retsambew keyword phrase. Till yesterday the number of competiting website’s were 51 only and now it has been reached to 1,650 which means the competition for Sulumits Retsambew keyword phrase is going to increase each day!

Strategy 1: Submitted my Sulumits Retsambew article URL to all major Social Networking & bookmarking sites Digg.com, Stumbleupon.com, Reddit.com, Mixx.com, Mybloglog.com, Technorati.com and micro blogging site Twitter.com

Strategy 2: One of the primary SEO strategy is to evaluate website performance in Search Engines, since the target search engine for Sulumits Retsambew SEO contest is Google, I run a Google Site Search and noticed that Google is displaying meta description tag for my Sulumits Retsambew contest page as “Search Engine Marketing Professional – SEO/SEM Expert” while I had written the custom meta title [Sulumits Retsambew - Net Builders Sulumits Retsambew SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Contest] & meta description [Sulumits Retsambew SEO Contest - Greatest SEO contest for 2009 is announced, Sulumits Retsambew SEO Contest officially declared by NetBuilders.Org] for Sulumits Retsambew contest page. On doing website evaluation I figured out that my WordPress Plugin is having some issue with header.php file, due to which meta description is same for each webpage & webpost. Thanks to Sulumits Retsambew SEO Contest due to which I got some time working on my personal site. Well I had removed the code and site will work fine now.

SEO Tips: It’s important to have Custom Title & Description tag for your website page’s (Place your main targeted keywords withing Title & Description). One of the biggest mistake many webmaster make is keeping the similar title & description tag for website page’s. Don’t do this.

Google Position Update Day 2: On day 1 my website was ranking at 14th position for searched term Sulumits Retsambew. Today it is ranking on 16th position [Drop of 2 positions at Google.com]. Well I am very much aware of the reason why site ranking went downward.

1. Reason 1 : Increase in number of websites, some new website/blog launched and competiting for Sulumits Retsambew keyword phrase.
2. Reason 2: Display of improper meta description over Google.com for Sulumits Retsambew article URL.

One of the greatest SEO contest for 2009 is announced, Will Spencer Administrator & Owner of NetBuilders.Org has officially declared SEO contest on 09th March, 2009 and named it as “Sulumits Retsambew SEO Contest”.

The prime objective of “Sulumits Retsambew“ SEO Contest is to test the Google Algorithm for Sulumits Retsambew keyword, the factors which Google consider and look into awarding Top Search Engine Rankings for any website over specific search keyword phrases.

Strategy 5: I’ll submit Sulumits Retsambew URL to free online directories and some social marketing websites.

Strategy 6: I’ll pick some tags related to Sulumits Retsambew to be use for this Blog post. WordPress has added advantage and if you use your tags properly for Blog articles it will help a lot to get searched by blog directories & earn some good amount of backlinks too from WordPress Blog Article Tags. On many occasion I had noticed WP tags (keyword phrases) ranking in Google top results. I am going to use Sulumits Retsambew tags wisely.
