As said I’ll share and publish SEO strategies which I am gonna implement for Sulumits Retsambew SEO contest, so here’s the quick update for Sulumits Retsambew – Day 2.

I hope you guys remember Strategy 3 shared yesterday about Google Competition for Sulumits Retsambew keyword phrase. Strategy 2: One of the primary SEO strategy is to evaluate website performance in Search Engines, since the target search engine for Sulumits Retsambew SEO contest is Google, I run a Google Site Search and noticed that Google is displaying meta description tag for my Sulumits Retsambew contest page as “Search Engine Marketing Professional – SEO/SEM Expert” while I had written the custom meta title [Sulumits Retsambew - Net Builders Sulumits Retsambew SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Contest] & meta description [Sulumits Retsambew SEO Contest - Greatest SEO contest for 2009 is announced, Sulumits Retsambew SEO Contest officially declared by NetBuilders.Org] for Sulumits Retsambew contest page. On doing website evaluation I figured out that my Wordpress Plugin is having some issue with header.php file, due to which meta description is same for each webpage & webpost. Thanks to Sulumits Retsambew SEO Contest due to which I got some time working on my personal site. Well I had removed the code and site will work fine now.

SEO Tips: It’s important to have Custom Title & Description tag for your website page’s (Place your main targeted keywords withing Title & Description). One of the biggest mistake many webmaster make is keeping the similar title & description tag for website page’s. Don’t do this.

Google Position Update Day 2: On day 1 my website was ranking at 14th position for searched term Sulumits Retsambew. Today it is ranking on 16th position [Drop of 2 positions at Google.com]. Well I am very much aware of the reason why site ranking went downward.

1. Reason 1 : Increase in number of websites, some new website/blog launched and competiting for Sulumits Retsambew keyword phrase.
2. Reason 2: Display of improper meta description over Google.com for Sulumits Retsambew article URL.
